Yellow Journalism:journalism that is set upon sensationalism and crude exaggeration.

Muckrakers:the action of searching out and publicizing scandalous information about famous people in an underhanded way

Libel:a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.

5 W’s and H:(who,what,where,when,why and how) basic information gathering and problem Solving.

hazelwood v.kuhlmeier court case:According to uscourts.gov “Two of the articles submitted for publication in the final edition of the paper contained stories on divorce and teenage pregnancy. The divorce article featured a story about a girl who blamed her father's actions for her parents' divorce. The teenage pregnancy article featured stories in which pregnant students at Hazelwood East shared their experiences” And they were invading someone’s privacy and privacy life.

Inverted Pyramid Style:The inverted pyramid is a metaphor used by journalists and other writers to illustrate how information should be prioritized and structured in a text (e.g., a news report).
