Special Occasions Thanksgiving a holiday we all enjoy. Where we all come together and can enjoy playing games and mostly about what we are thankful for also food. We can all agree the food that you have for thanksgiving is delicious and brings all the family together in a way that is helpful.Some of the famous foods me and my family eat are Baked macaroni,Ham,Dressing, cornbread, biscuits collard greens (etc).Thanksgiving was and still is a very important and popular holiday.

Another popular holiday we celebrate is Christmas. Celebrated by 1.6 billion people.On Christmas we get rewarded with gifts and more food. If you don’t know why we celebrate christmas then this paragraph will inform you; According to www.whychristmas.com “Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God”.And so that is why we celebrate to give thanks to god and all that jesus has sacrificed. One last holiday we all like is Valentine's day.Valentine’s day is very popular holiday. celebrated by 151 million people. But to me Valentine’s day isn't seen as a holiday because I just see a holiday being celebrated with family.

But the most traditional way Valentine's day is celebrated is with your loved one.The reason why we celebrate Valentine's day is to show appreciation to the one you love mostly seen as your boyfriend, husband,girlfriend or wife.But the real reason we celebrate this holiday according to www.rosesonly.com “At the time of Valentine's life, many Romans were converting to Christianity, but the Emperor Claudius II was a pagan and created strict laws about what Christians were allowed to do. Claudius believed that Roman soldiers should be completely devoted to Rome and therefore passed a law preventing them from marrying.
